A seasoned, UX-UI expert with over
18 years of expertise across Interaction Design, Product Design
& setting up of Product design teams.
Experience in solving design challenges in the B2C and B2B domain which include Procurement, Entertainment, E-learning, Health & Wellness being some of the key industries. I have good hands on Conceptualisation, Ideation, User research, Information architecture, User flows, Persona Creation, Wireframes, Visual & Interaction design and Rapid Prototyping.
Design Tools
I closely work with my design team members, front end developers, product managers & engineers to get features developed for product launches and new feature introductions.
As a lead, I initiate and implement recruitment drives, hiring strategies and orient senior personnel joining the team. As a lead I also focus on mentoring and building design teams with the help of workshops around key skill development and latest updates in the field of product design.

Principal Product Designer (DGM) - JioHealth
Currently working on establishing the design systems for UI/UX for the entire Jio Health vertical. Responsible for partnering with product & business leaders in the organisation to implement design vision and direction as well as raise the user experience and engagement with stakeholders across Design, Product, Marketing and Engineering. Enable product design teams to work coherently in this direction to create great products. Also responsible for creating strategic bets and roadmaps, defining teams, planning manpower investments and their ROI for the planned future quarters across the year.
Highlights

Introduced and implemented Figma as a platform for all design & workflow based projects. The result, improved TAT for tasks by approximately 70%.

Highlighted the importance of UX research within our product domain and setup the UX research team successfully. Currently this is a 2 member team working on multiple UX initiatives across the board.

I have also been able to add value to the physical product teams at JIO. The wearables initiative at JIO has been a great learning experience for me as well as adding more value to the role.

Apart from the product role, I am also managing the marketing design team at Jio, helping them improve designs and user engagement across social & other marketing platforms. This is helping me get a full access view to the design ecosystem with our products.

During my stint, I worked on deliveries of responsive websites, mobile designs, digital marketing and social media campaigns. Responsible to create design guidelines and design manuals. Successfully designed & delivered multiple Interactive designs and campaigns for STC, Dubai festival website. Also worked on other genres like real-estate, construction, oil & gas and lifestyle.
